How are you different than other clinics?

Our Bio-Med Support Program is the only cancer program with two centers – KYO Wellness Center in Orange County, California and the Bio-med Clinic 10 minutes from the border in Mexico. The Orange County KYO Wellness Center prepares you for an intensive 2 weeks at the Bio-med clinic in Mexico. After your treatment program, we give you your tailor made post clinic Self-help Support Program to carry on at home.

What is the procedure for starting a treatment program?

  2. Set up a meeting at the Orange County KYO Wellness Center.
  3. Meet with a Specialist who will set up all appropriate testing, go over your case in detail and brief you on your program at the Bio-med Clinic in Mexico.
  4. Get youe set up at the Bio-med Clinic to complete your treatment program.
  5. Give you your tailor made post clinic Self-help Support Program.
  6. Go home and liaise with your Co-ordinator when you get back home.
What types of treatments will I receive?

How long does the program take?

Your treatment program starts at our KYO Wellness Center in Orange County, California. You then begin a two week intensive program at the Bio-med Clinic in Mexico. We then give you your tailor-made post clinic Self-help Support Program to follow at home for as long as you feel you need to. The objective is to help you to restore you to good health. We will monitor your progress with supervised lab tests and on-going evaluation.

Does this program replace chemotherapy?

The objective is to replace chemotherapy. However, in certain cases such as an advanced stage of cancer, modified chemotherapy may be necessary to reverse a life threatening condition.

Are there any side effects to the treatments?

If chemotherapy is necessary Dr. Vargas is internationally known for his modified approach to avoid side effects. When combined with therapeutic nutrition and detoxification, this treatment does not result in nausea and loss of hair.

How do you work with my existing physicians or specialists?

Most physicians and specialist respect the will of the patient and have no problem working with our doctors.

Can I bring a companion for support?

Yes definitely, this is very beneficial. The fee includes a companion who shares your accommodation. Cost of Meals are not included.

What happens after I'm done with the treatment program?

We will give you your tailor-made post clinic Self-help Support Program to follow at home for as long as you feel you need to. We will also set you up with a Co-ordinator who will work with you and keep you focused on your steady recovery. The objective is to help you to restore you to good health. We will monitor your progress with supervised lab tests and on-going evaluation.

Do you have a support network?

Our support network is co-ordinated and developed by Joyce Palau in Orange County, California. Joyce is a twice recovered cancer survivor who is determined to assist others to start a support group in their local areas.

Do I have to come back for a follow-up?

Each case is different, but normally only those patients undergoing modified chemotherapy or surgery need to come back for follow up.
